The Liechtenstein Cultural Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture of Liechtenstein in cooperation with the literary network TRADUKI invite writers from Albania to apply for a one- to two-month working fellowship in the capital of Liechtenstein, Vaduz. This call for applications is the second part of the literary exchange between Albania and Liechtenstein, as one author from Liechtenstein has already been invited to Tirana. Eligible to apply are published authors of fiction, non-fiction, theater, poetry, essays or children's and youth books. Deadline for applications for a stay in November and December 2015 is August 21, 2015.
The fellowship comprises a four- to eight-week stay in a furnished apartment, travel costs and a contribution for living expenses.
The invited writer will have the possibility to work on their current manuscript and to delve into the artistic, cultural and literary scenes of Liechtenstein. During the stay, the author will have a public presentation of their work.
The application should include the following documents:
- Short biography (one A4 page) in English or German,
- Contact information (Address, E-Mail, Mobile phone number),
- List of published works,
- Short outline of activities in Vaduz,
- Letter of recommendation.
The applications will be reviewed and the selection will be made by a jury appointed by Traduki. The candidates will be informed about the decision of the jury on August 31, 2015 at the latest.
